Listening to a farming radio show on a Saturday morning, I heard some female business women being interviewed about how they took part in a fantastic business initiative some years previously and were still part of the network. They spoke about how much both they and their business benefited from having a lead entrepreneur facilitate monthly round table sessions. The business needed to have been trading for 2 years, have made some money, female led and want to grow. This totally resonated with me. I stopped the car, keyed in the name of the initiative and back at the house later I filled out the form. It was before Christmas 2021 and I didn’t think anything else about it until I heard Climate Matters had been selected in January and it was back in-person for 6 sessions in 2022.
Working ON the business for 6 months as opposed to IN the business was key and freeing up some headspace time to develop clear goals and deliver on them.
