Recently the EU Mission on Climate Adaptation launched the community of practice led by Ricardo Energy & Environment as Project Director for the Mission Implementation Platform. Climate Matters is 1 of 14 SMEs within the consortium and Climate Matters will be providing technical assistance to the Charter signatories in Ireland with development and financing of their adaptation pathways over the next three years.
The Mission’s objectives are to:
1. Provide general support to EU regions, local authorities and communities in preparing and planning for climate resilience
2. Support at least 150 EU regions, local authorities and communities to accelerate their transformation to a climate resilient future
3. Scale-up actionable solutions through 75 large-scale demonstrations of resilience across EU regions, local authorities, and communities.
