Fancy working in a Start-Up, playing with toys and helping companies measure and reduce their emissions and climate risks?
Calling engineers, software, analytical skills with an interest in technology, data, modelling and applying these to solve climate challenges faced by companies and governments.
Roles will involve applying and using IoT, Augmented Reality, drones, weather and climate modelling to :
# measure clients’ impacts on the environment
# assess how climate change could impact their business model risks and opportunities
# Model physical climate risks to infrastructure
# Assemble machine readable data for reporting
# develop decarbonisation plans
Overall looking for Problem Solvers to apply Innovation and Digitalisation to climate challenges.
# Paid Internships, Graduates, professionals with 2 to 5 years experience
# Knowledge of python, databases SQLite and SQL Server, XHTML are an advantage but training will be supported.
# Experience in Emissions verification again an advantage but training will be provided
Membership of Engineers Ireland and will support work towards chartership
Membership of Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)
Members of the Innovation Community (IRDG)
Location : Site visits required within Ireland / team meetings in north county Dublin once per month
Part-time hours considered also
